The formation of this new component in doable-base propel lants may not only help to overcome some difficulties caused in the technological process of propel-lant manufacture due to the use of inorganic and organic lead salts, but may also improve homogeneity of the propel lant components and stability of combustion. Results obtained from the experiments show that in the case of 5 and 7% nitrocellulose - lead introduced into the double-base propellant, plateau characteristic appears on the u(p) curve within the range of 40-100 atm, with the pressure exponent of 0.24. This is the range of pressure appl id in most solid propellant engines.
